Case study: Local Power Authority of St. Andres island was planning to increase capacity of the power grid in the island. Man diesel & Turbo Canada was awarded to design, build the brand new 28 MW Diesel power station. Saman Sajjadi as lead Mechanical & piping designer was responsible to design entire piping and layout system for this project. Design scope include preliminary and details engineering design, fabrication drawings, equipment spec preparation, purchasing requisitions and prepare & compile engineering & construction package for this project.


Project name: St Vincent
Location: St. Vincent island

Case study: Vinlec (St Vincent electrical power authority) was planning to expand existing power plant in lawman bay area in the island. Man diesel & turbo Canada previously completed first phase of the project by installing one large bore diesel engine at the plant. Expansion project again awarded to MD & T Canada. Diyarco Engineering in collaboration with Man diesel was responsible to design mechanical, piping system of the this project. Scope of supply include layout preparation, equipment selection, water cooling, fuel and oil piping system design of the project.

Rolling mills

Project name: Ivaco Rolling mills
Location: L’Orignal, Ontario
Date: 2013-2015

Case study: Ivaco rolling mills was planning to expand their production capacity to 700000 tons of steel per year. Part of this expansion was to build new billet caster line . Quad engineering as prime design consulting firm was assigned for undertaken expansion study and detail engineering. Diyarco engineering Inc. was hired as sub design contractor to provide detail piping design engineering service for this project. Scope of the supply include Site survey, Equipment layout drawing preparation, pump house layout study and drawings, details piping design include 2D & 3D, piping isometric shop drawings & Site support service during construction & installation of the project. Project was commissioned successfully on Jun 2015.
